Aberfeldie Primary School opened on September 11th 1925, 100 years ago this year. It then had an official opening on December 11th 2025, by the Minister of Education at the time. In its first week, Aberfeldie Primary School welcomed 178 scholars and catered to children from infant grades through to Year 8. Since opening its doors in 1925, our school has been a cornerstone of the local community, shaping generations of students with a commitment to excellence in learning. This centenary is a moment to reflect on our rich history, celebrate our achievements, and look ahead to an exciting future.
Throughout the year, we will be hosting a range of special events, including historical displays, student projects, and opportunities for past and present families to connect. Our celebrations will bring together alumni, staff, and community members to share memories and stories that have shaped our school’s journey. We invite everyone to join us in commemorating this milestone and celebrating the spirit of Aberfeldie Primary School.
Stay tuned for updates on upcoming centenary events and ways you can get involved!
