All students at Aberfeldie Primary School are provided with their own login details for Numbots and Times Tables Rock Stars. These engaging, online programs are designed to build strong number skills and fluency in a fun and motivating way.
Numbots (aimed at F-2) focuses on developing a solid understanding of number facts and mental calculation strategies. Through short, game-based activities, students practise essential skills such as counting, number bonds, and addition/subtraction facts, helping them develop accuracy and confidence.
Times Tables Rock Stars (aimed at 3-6) supports the quick recall of multiplication and division facts, an essential building block for more complex maths. With regular use, students can significantly improve their speed and accuracy, setting them up for success in all areas of mathematics.
Both programs:
-Provide a personalised learning journey, so each child works at the right level for them.
-Encourage regular, bite-sized practice that can be done at school or at home.
-Motivate students through challenges, rewards, and friendly competitions.
